A note about these prices-
WE CONTINUE TO BEAT ANY PRICE ON THE NET!
FIND A LOWER PRICE THAN LISTED HERE? SEND US AN EMAIL WITH THE WEBSITE URL TO: firstname.lastname@example.org SHOWING THE PRICE OF THE KERNELS AND WE WILL BEAT THAT PRICE AND MAKE A NEW COUPON!
Please make sure that it's a comparison in US dollars. Often we'll get Canadian or Australian dollar comparisons to try and beat. Though they're often close, these currencies aren't the same value.
Shop around! Others entice you with prices that look low then ZAP you with large shipping fees. Our shipping fee is $7.50 flat inside the United States! And we don't jack up the price to make up the difference!
A note on shipping to Canada- Don't be fooled by what seems to be a lower price via UPS to Canada. UPS has a policy of using a Customs broker for each package being brought across the border. The receiver of the package is responsible for the brokerage fee- $40-$60 (US). This is sort of a racket for UPS who wants to look competitive in international shipping but isn't and so they fail to disclose this charge until delivery. Choose Priority Mail- it is by far the best method to Canada for these smaller sized shipments, and for that matter, the rest of the world. UPS is better for very large shipments.

Bags of one or two pounds of apricot kernels (also called pits or seeds). Each 1 pound bag contains Approximately 700 seeds, 2 pound bags contain approximately 1400 seeds. These items sold as a food or spice ONLY! NO CLAIMS of any kind are made or implied.
These kernels are grown on North and South American apricot farms and are bare (without the hulls). These are BITTER apricot kernels. Often sweet kernels can be obtained at much lower prices, but they are not nutritionally equivalent to the bitter kernels.
There is a lot of sales hype from some competitors regarding "sun drying" of apricot kernels. Some customers have become so confused by this sales technique that they have requested un-dried kernels! Let's be clear on this subject: Our apricot seeds are NOT sun-dried. Almost no one's are. Virtually all kernels available commercially are air-dried unless otherwise stated. Kernels MUST BE DRIED by one drying method or another to avoid mold! Our kernels are air dried just like virtually all other distributors' kernels. They are NOT cooked or steamed in any manner. This preserves the important nutrients and enzymes contained in the kernel without the danger of mold formation which ruins the seeds. Some other pits are steamed or cooked. Avoid these. If you are in doubt, please ASK!
Avoid the hype and ask Rainrock!
